The new MD-µQC is the next generation of surface analysis tool. Competitively priced, extremely accurate and adaptable to varied production environments, the MD-µQC takes non-contact surface analysis out of the lab and onto the production floor. It is flexible enough to be used in a variety of production environments, from manufacturing to the laboratory.
With dimensions of 8.5" X 4.5" X 3.7" and weighing only 4.8 pounds, the MD-µQC opens a world of new application possibilities. Now it is possible to take the instrument to the part, not the part to the lab.
The MD-µQC is designed to be used as an attachment to a CMM or robotic arm. This creates the ability to have truly "hands free" parts inspection - improving productivity and reducing costs.
The key to the accuracy and repeatability of the MD-µQC is the use of broad spectrum, short coherence length interferometric technology. This technique eliminates ambiguity and allows for the measurement of surfaces with deep or sharp features, narrow grooves and vertical walls.
